Gratituesday 2.24.26 - Watching the Snow

I have complained the last few winters about the lack of snow. In 2020 I bought a lovely pair of snow boots, and I didn’t have the opportunity to actually wear them. Well, that changed this year. We were hit a few weeks ago, and then we got a record-breaking bomb cyclone and blizzard the last 2 days. I was able to watch the snow fall. Big, fat snowflakes that drifted down and landed on the fluffy snow on the ground. I live in the back of my building, so everything is rather calm and pretty. However, I need to don those snow boots today and get out into it. From social media I saw the stories of flight cancelations, but also the sledding in local parks. I do hope those in the unhoused community found security and those that have to travel are safe, as well. Well, look at that…a nice segue to my gratitude and more lists! Want to join me? Awesome, I’m happy to start. Off we go!
