Muted Friday Gratitudes!

670px-Get-Rid-of-a-Sore-Throat-Step-21I have been dodging a cold for the last few days. I've kept it at bay by taking lots of Vitamin C, resting, drinking hot water with honey and lemon and gargling with salt water. However on Wednesday I was in the school all day with the 5th Graders at PS 111 prepping and cooking for the Spoons Across America dinner party that evening. The students were excited and I tried to talk over them. About 30 minutes in my voice was going and when I woke the next morning it was GONE. I always find this a great lesson since it's hard for me to delegate, but it's IMPERATIVE when I have no voice. I did catering work last night and passing hors d'oeuvres was a challenge, but people in general were kind. Since I've laid low this week, I have not been to yoga as much as I wanted this week. However I did complete my ab challenge and start my arms challenge. Here's a bunch of things I'm grateful for:1. Amazing volunteers at the dinner party on Wednesday. There is no way we would have been able to have a completed meal with a festive room without their energy, patience and talent.2. My assistance, Catherine for totally taking charge and getting shit done.3. Warm, sunny days in the city - in November!4. The ability to say no - and I'm sorry.5. Support on my physical challenges. And things I WILL get done this coming week:1. Going to 4 yoga classes2. Emailing all wedding vendors about The Zen Bride Mini3. Fully tidying and cleaning my apartmentLastly, some CELEBRATIONS!1. Going to two yoga classes this week and prepped to do two over the weekend.2. Scheduling my FL trip in January.3. Going to a wedding networking event and making some new contacts and connections - and sending email follow-ups.4. Writing the email to send to the wedding vendors about The Zen Bride.5. Having a bit of social time with my friend, Wesley.Have any gratitudes, goals or celebrations you want to share? Feel free below and I will personally cheer you on and hold you accountable. Go!
