Vendors I Love: SPN Events
I met Stan and his amazing musicians on a wedding last month. First off, he was super responsive to all of my emails, so we could be on the same page for all things ceremony. When I arrived the strong trio was getting ready to play. And they were SO good. They warmed the rustic space and added a feeling of elegance. Without further ado, I’m beyond thrilled to shine a little light on Stanislav Nikolov and SPN Events.
What was the path that led you to become a musician and event producer?
I've been passionate about music since I was a child growing up in Bulgaria. I started playing violin when I was only five years old, and my love for music grew as I got older. I studied at the National School of Arts in Rousse, Bulgaria with renowned violin instructors Aneliya Popova and Pelagiya Vekilova. After moving to the United States, I continued to hone my skills at the Manhattan School of Music and Brooklyn College.
Over the years, I've had the opportunity to perform as a soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician at some of the most prestigious venues in the world. I've also won numerous awards and competitions, including the Grand Prix in the LISMA International Music Competition and First Prize in both solo and chamber music in the "Hopes, Talents, Masters" International Competition in Dobrich, Bulgaria.
Through all of my experiences, I've developed a passion for not only performing but also for creating unforgettable events. That's what led me to start SPN EVENTS, where I use my knowledge and expertise to help couples, companies, and organizations create exceptional events that leave a lasting impression.
What excites you about weddings?
Weddings are such a special and joyous occasion. It's an honor to be a part of a couple's big day and to help them create memories that will last a lifetime. I love working with couples to understand their vision for their wedding and to help them bring that vision to life. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing the smiles on their faces as they celebrate with their loved ones.
What do you look for in a couple?
I look for couples who are passionate about their wedding and who are willing to collaborate and communicate effectively. It's important to have a strong relationship where we can bounce ideas off of each other and work together to make their wedding dreams a reality. I also look for couples who value high-quality entertainment, and who are willing to invest in creating a truly unforgettable event.
What is the greatest compliment you’ve ever received?
When a couple tells me that their wedding was even more amazing than they had imagined it could be. Knowing that I was able to help create such a special day for them is incredibly fulfilling.
What do you desire for your business?
My goal for SPN EVENTS is to continue to be the go-to provider of exceptional entertainment services for all types of events. I want to help create unforgettable experiences that exceed our client's expectations every time. I also want to continue to grow and expand our services to help more people create the events of their dreams.
What are you grateful for?
I'm grateful for my love of music, which has allowed me to pursue my passion and create a successful career doing what I love. I'm also grateful for my family and friends, who have supported me every step of the way. And lastly, I'm grateful for the opportunity to work with so many amazing clients and to help them create unique events.
Any recent cause for celebration?
I'm excited to announce that SPN EVENTS has been selected to provide entertainment for a major upcoming event in New York City.
Oooh, what is it?
I cannot share what it is quite yet, but it's a huge honor for our team to be chosen. We can't wait to bring our expertise and creativity to this project. We're always looking for new opportunities to challenge ourselves and to create amazing experiences for our clients, and this event is the perfect chance to do just that.
As for my personal news, I'm excited to announce that I just got engaged myself and I am excited to be planning my own wedding with some of the best vendors and friends in NYC.
