Gratituesday 4.14.20 - Vertigo Returns

Screen-Shot-2020-04-14-at-7.06.15-PM.png

During yoga last Thursday I noticed I was a little lightheaded. I mentioned it to my friend, Maria towards the end of practice and she suggested grabbing a glass of water after making sure I had breakfast. (um, I'm never one to skip a meal!) We had a genuine mystery on our hands! The following day I started getting dizzy and I realized (dun, dun, dun) that it was a case of the Vertigo Returns!

Ten years ago, I went through a 3-month battle with vertigo. I was recently out of grad school and looking for work. I was also healing from an ankle injury and starting over for the 4th time in Berkeley, CA. The stress of it all got to me and the vertigo completely knocked me on my butt. As the vertigo returns, it really just affects if I move my head too quickly - which makes yoga a challenge, but not impossible. But it does lend itself to acknowledging the stress of isolation and uncertainty. Thankfully, it just went away on its own back in 2010. Here's hoping the same will happen now.

The world as we know it is continually shifting. Let's stay grounded with some GRATITUDES, shall we? Care to join me? Feel free to write your thoughts, ask your questions or add your own lists below!
