Gratituesday 1.2.18 - Going Within
Hey folks, welcome to the first Gratituesday of 2018! I was away on vacation last week. Instead of trying to figure out how to create and post my Weekly Lists from my phone, I decided to skip a week. I was in the Bahamas where it was sunny and warm. Now that I'm back in New York with temps below freezing for the next week, I am consciously hibernating. I do have two appointments outside my apartment this week, but for the most part I'm counseling from home or meeting clients on Skype & FaceTime. I have a decent list of things to do to prepare for the year ahead. Here's to keeping procrastination low and productivity high. In the meantime, care to join me on going within and reflecting on the present? Awesome! Let's go.
GRATITUDES
1. A few good friends and neighbors for joining me yesterday for my annual New Year's Day gathering
2. My real estate agent, Kristin for getting angrier and more frustrated than me when we found out that my most recent apartment offer was not selected
3. My family.
4. Unemployment Insurance
5. The ability and the means to travel
CELEBRATIONS
1. Regular Spanish language lessons with my nephew
2. Keeping up with my Morning Pages during vacation
3. Time at the beach and swimming in the ocean
4. A stronger Parsvabakasana. I have not mastered the pose yet, so I will continue #OperationSideCrow in 2018
5. For making a dent on cleaning and organizing my apartment. I still have a ways to go, but there is a noticeable difference!
DESIRES
1. A home I love
2. Four bookings this week - I already have 1!
3. A new blog post and sending a newsletter to my mailing list this week
4. To finish one book this month - and every month this year
5. Drinking more water. Hopefully this will solve my belly pain and tired looking skin
Okay, guys that's it. See how easy it is. In fact, you don't need to do 5. You can do just 1. Share a gratitude, a celebration or a desire below or feel free to comment on mine. I will gladly take a cheerleader! Here's to a wonderful week and a fulfilling year ahead. Happy New Year!
