Gratituesday 12.12.17 - Goals & Progress

Gratituesday-1.png

I started my Weekly Lists yesterday morning, but didn't get too far as I had to leave for a meeting and a wedding. And then I completely forgot to post before bed. A few hours late, but just as important! I realize that the individual items are largely repeats. I tend to write the same things every week, especially in the gratitude and desire categories. However, the CELEBRATION list is largely new and it was the easiest to write. I've set goals in those areas and they were also easier to accomplish or measure. As we get close to the end of 2017, I deepen my reflection. Did I accomplish what I wanted this year? How did I do compared to last year? Where *should* I be? For someone who releases judgement, I am very judgy - about myself. For the Artists Way, Week 1, we're supposed to look at our "Monsters," those people who block or censor. I'm happy to say, the only person that's doing that right now is...ME! And it's subtle. But I'm the one that's not pushing more or dreaming big or aiming for impossible. Here's to getting out of my own way and having a more fulfilling 2018. In the meantime, here are my Weekly Lists. Care you join me?

GRATITUDES

1. Catering leftovers - and my ability to transform them!

2. Warm mittens and snow boots

3. Hot coffee & red wine

4. Great colleagues and collaborators

5. My real estate team - Kristin, Pam and hopefully Maxwell!

CELEBRATIONS

1. Last week's call to the universe was heard! While I did get two bookings this week, I not only got 5 inquiries, I got SEVEN!

2. Daily yoga and a public class at Brahman

3. A really strong parsvabakasana! Go #OperationSideCrow

4. Having a morning ritual!

5. Getting back on the Spanish language - Duolingo bandwagon

DESIRES

1. Chanukah candles on sale!

2. A home I love

3. A date

4. A clean & organized apartment. I've started, but there's so much more to do!

5. Booking 1 wedding this week

Okay, folks, that's it! Nice and easy. And yes, the repeats are starting to bug me. Why am I writing them week after week with no action? Aren't I grateful for OTHER things? So, here's to a great week and some NEW experiences to report next week! Feel free to add your comments, questions and your OWN lists below!
