Gratituesday 11.14.17 - Building Community
I'm currently sitting in the middle of 501 Union in Brooklyn at the co-working space created for Love Union, a gathering of mostly wedding pros to collaborate, network and create and build community. It was not easy to get out of bed this morning, but knowing that I was getting up and out of the house to get work done was hugely positive. I knew I was going to be productive today. So, I grabbed my rarely used laptop and made the 75 minute trip to Gowanus. Once I arrived, I created a list of 6 things I wanted to get done today and my Gratituesday list is #5! Not bad, huh? And I had a great lunch, got my hair, makeup AND nails done, plus connected with some industry folk I have not seen in a while. Totally win-win-win! Without further ado, here are my weekly lists.

3. Having ingredients in the fridge to make a decent meal
4. My interior designer friend Carlos for always giving me great ideas for possible apartments
5. Having time to rest and heal from being sick last week
CELEBRATIONS
1. Getting back on the yoga mat
2. Having an almost empty sink
3. Continuing to figure out a better work and living space
4. Offering some great nuggets of wisdom to my counseling couples
5. Keeping up with Oprah and Deepak Chopra's meditation challenge
DESIRES
1. Full closets cleaning and organization
2. Drinking more water
3. Taking better care of my skin

Okay folks, that's it. Super easy. Doing these lists really allow me to slow down and focus on things that matter. We live in a busy world and we forget the small things. We forget the good things. Take time to remember! And better yet, I will celebrate & encourage you every step of the way. Let's go!
