Gratituesday 8.23.16

Happy Tuesday, everyone! It’s been an absolutely gorgeous day in Manhattan, so it was a perfect opportunity to take stock and be grateful for the little things. I have to be honest and say that I have not been very successful with the goals I set 2 weeks ago. So, I’m trying again. Join me?

IMG_2904GRATITUDES
1. A flexible schedule that allows for meeting friends in the afternoon
2. Slightly cooler temperatures
3. Fresh food
4. Trader Joe's Mint Chocolate Chip Ice cream
5. A working fan and air conditioner

CELEBRATIONS
1. Getting my nephew to help me with cooking and setting the table
2. A clean apartment - outside of the kitchen
3. Semi-regular language lessons - both Spanish & Italian
4. The opportunity to work with some amazing wedding couples
5. Tackling my financial education

DESIRES
1. To stop complaining. Okay, I found that it’s super easy to satisfy this in my apartment. Since I work primarily from home, there are many days that I don’t leave the house. Unfortunately, the complaining flares up when I’m in the world and tends to be centered around the strangers I encounter. On the street. On the subway. So I’m hereby changing stop complaining to BE A POSITIVE FORCE. Wish me luck.
2. To return to a regular yoga practice
3. Drink more water
4. Neighbors who value cleanliness and courtesy
5. To write an article on the blog on a weekly basis

Okay, folks that's it. Now's your turn. I will gladly accept any cheerleaders and will kindly return the favor in turn. In the meantime, have a wonderful week and continue to be present!
