From the Couch Gratitudes

The catering job I was supposed to work this morning was cancelled. I worked late last night so that was a welcome surprise. That also left me little to do today. I work better on a schedule. I like being busy, and it forces me to get the little things done in the midst of the big things. But when my schedule is WIDE OPEN, it's difficult for me to get off the couch. I did get laundry done today, but my apartment is still a bit of a disaster. I have plenty of time to clean it, but gosh, the couch is so comfy! Let's take a moment and reflect and share!

1. My friends for coming out in the rain and joining in a little Philharmonic in the Park

4. The re-publishing of an article on pre-marital counseling I contributed to last year

CELEBRATIONS

1. Being 4 weddings away from my annual goal with 4 pending (and it's still June!)

2. Doing 3 language lessons this week

3. Taking action on strengthening my social circle

4. Completing the last 2 successful programs with Spoons Across America

5. Having clean underwear (it's the little things!)

DESIRES

1. A clean and organized apartment

2. Living in a home that I love

3. Going on a date

4. Lessening the stress of doing out of town weddings

Okay, I am getting off the couch, putting on the Bosanova Pandora station and will do my dishes. Perhaps I will celebrate a clean sink with a vodka and grapefruit. Be happy and have a great weekend!
