Gratitudes, Celebrations & Tasks, oh my!
I love that my simple ritual of weekly gratitudes has shifted over the last year. From Thursdays to Fridays and then the addition of tasks, and then celebrations. It's important to keep all of these in check - finding joy in the little things, remembering to keep pushing on as well as patting yourself on the back for taking steps forward. Here's my weekly lists:GRATITUDES1. the free mammogram truck that just happened to be in my neighborhood today2. an early night last night3. sparkling wine. I don't have it very often, but I've had more than my fair share lately and it's been tasty!4. a lovely chance to catch up with a good friend5. not having to bring my broken cast iron set BACK to the post office. Yay for UPS pick ups!CELEBRATIONS1. FIVE booked weddings (including 1 interested in counseling and 3 interested in yoga), plus 4 pending weddings2. a festive holiday brunch for some friends3. completing another successful Dinner Party Project with Spoons Across AmericaTHINGS TO DOHere's where the list gets rather long. I have a huge desire to take on the challenges from 2013 and continue them in 2014. That includes my weight loss challenge, my No New Plastics Challenge, as well as the 30 Day Exercise stuff. I also must go through all of my stuff and either clean and organize and get rid. Lastly, it's time to finally get health insurance and learn to play the ukelele.See lots of stuff.Come join me on the journey. Share what you'd like and feel free to check in to see how I'm doing. Go.
